Maile Boots and Gloves
I had some scraps of maile in my workshop and decided to pretty up my extremities. The maile is held to the shoe with T-25 staples (the round ones used for cable tv wire).

Originally I attached the maile to combat boots and the hard sole held the staples well. The softer sole of the sneaker doesn't hold the staples well, I make repairs (with the staple gun) pretty often.

The maile is stitched to the glove with artificial sinew.

Neither of these projects was difficult and made a huge difference in my appearance.
